My Very First Mood Board

 cork board
 magazine cut-outs/black and white tacks

Making a mood board is probably one of the easiest things to do but yet provides tons of inspiration. This was my first time making one but I now plan to make one for each season so that I can constantly be inspired for new outfits, new posts, and even new make-up ideas. I'm keeping a few tacks close by that way whenever I come across something that I'm coveting or inspired by I can quickly hang up on the board. It's definitely a work in progress.

Playing Polyvore

gold accents

This was my first time on the Polyvore site and I really enjoyed it. It can stir up inspiration for clothes, home, or just coming up with different color combinations.

My Dream Loft

I saw this loft tour on Apartment Therapy yesterday and I just had to share it with you guys. It truly encompasses all of the elements I would like to one day have in my dream home/loft: open floor plan but cozy at the same time, rustic vibe mixed with a timeless elegance. I've been drooling over this house all day. Let me know what you guys think. I would add a more feminine vibe (a little pink never hurt nobody!) but since the owner is a bachelor I think he chose the right fabrics and statement pieces for his lifestyle. He really outdid himself with this renovation.

Saturday's are the best days

This book is full of great tips for styling, cleaning, and organizing your wardrobe. I know I'm a little late but I highly recommend it if you don't already have it.

And after a day long hunt with my sister-in-law we finally found the perfect pink, matte, lipstick that I was so desperately looking for. I'm in love and have been using it everyday this week (see below). The color is Primrose #668 from Revlon. It's really inexpensive and lasts all day.

My hubby and I at Spanish Harlem (a really nice spot in downtown Atlanta to listen to live music and enjoy great food!)

yellow tulips (surprisingly they've lasted almost a week so far)

It's Friday and I'm already anxious for Saturday, they are really the best days of the week in my opinion. Not only does my hubby come back to town but I get to reunite with my closest middle school friends which I haven't seen in years! So that should be fun. Hope you all have an amazing weekend. xo

Easter Sunday Outfit Inspiration

1. Topshop Poppy print dress by Boutique
2. J.Crew (electric feel) FACE Stockholm nail polish
3. green Zara lined wedges
4. gold ASOS earrings

It's become tradition for me to wear a floral dress on Easter Sunday. My mom used to dress me up with a purse, shiny shoes, hat and all every year. And even though those days are long gone I still keep the tradition alive but slightly modified - minus shiny shoes and hat. I still wear florals and definitely make  a special effort for such a special day. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

My Weekend

fresh hydrangeas

I'm sorry, I know I haven't posted in a while but I've been really sick for the past week. Apparently pollen can really take a number on you, but I'm back in action! In order to spruce things about around here I bought hydrangeas in a purple/pink color, I figured it was also a nice way to welcome in Spring (which I was so ready for). Boredom struck while I was home sick so I decided to do some spring-cleaning and to my surprise I found my wedding day jewelry which bought back great memories!  Now I'm thinking of sharing pictures of my wedding day with you guys in a later post.
